Is it worth it
Ok so i almost paid 379 for a helix 5, and that was on sale original price was 499. This is supposed to have all the bells ands whistles. Di/si gps and what have you. My question is, is it worth it.

Is it worth it? I think you're the only person who can answer that.
Since it looks like you've already purchased the unit at this point going bigger (although very good advice) doesn't apply in this case.
Personally I paid a few thousand for mine (gen1 hds) and I would say yes, to me it's worth it.
GPS is a must have for me.
DI is nice because it adds clarity to cover.
SI in some cases is a great search tool.
After you use it a while I think you'll find you like it.
