I used the marsh anchors when I lived in Fla last cenytury. My poles were wood, made from closet poles. I had clamp on brackets for an anchor pole guide. Anchor pole was also used to jab gators when they got too close to my boat on Lake Jessup and also on Puzzle Lake.
