    Default shoot thru hull help


    hi guys I am having a problem with my transducer location.I have a xpress h18 pfc crappie edition and it being a metal hull i have my transducer located out back .the problem is i fish a lot of standing timber and have cracked two tranducers already or knocked them loose and it is getting hard to deal with .Do any of you have any suggestions on a shoot thru the hull fix for me?I have a hds gen 2 10 no structure or down imageing yet maybe later though. thanks and God bless

    I'd suggest not tightening the bolts as tight to allow it to flip out of the way, or get a Transducer Shield and Saver spring back bracket Transducer Shield and Saver SBB-4 to attach a Transom Style Transducer on a Transom
