The Gen 2 and Gen 3 operator manuals say you can do this. Anyone know why you would want or need to do this?

Thanks Rickie. As usual the Gen 3 video doe not match what happened on my HDS 9 Gen 3. I get a pop up screen with a red circle over a hand indicating DO NOT touch the screen, then a bar at the bottom loads left to right.
