    Default Lowrance Touch Screen Calibration

The Gen 2 and Gen 3 operator manuals say you can do this. Anyone know why you would want or need to do this?

Following, as I wondered the same thing? Mine works so well I'm afraid to touch it.

The videos explain why to calibrate ...

If the screen feels unresponsive or if the touch doesn't seem to be where you touch it to make a command ...

Thanks Rickie. As usual the Gen 3 video doe not match what happened on my HDS 9 Gen 3. I get a pop up screen with a red circle over a hand indicating DO NOT touch the screen, then a bar at the bottom loads left to right. I guess that is the "self" calibrating he talks about.
