    Non-brand specific ...

    455kHz will give more range - with less detail ...
    800kHz will give more detail - with less range ...



    So...........:

    *If you're looking for stuff way over there = use 455kHz ...
    *If you're looking for detail right here at the boat = use 800kHz ...
