Does anyone know if you can mount the transducer cable in the shaft slot on the new 2017 Terrovas (like we did on the old ones) ?

The width of the cable can vary a little with each different xducer. Do some measuring to be sure.

You are correct. I just received my new 2017 and you cannot run the cable in the slot. There is a spring (lift assist) toward the bottom of the slot that prevents this. Thanks for the reply.
