I currently have a Hummingbird 570. It is a trolling motor mount for the transducer. As it is being used on a 10 ft boat there is an excess of wire after it is plugged into the unit. The excess is coiled up bout a 5 inch diameter coil with zip ties to secure it. I will be purchasing a DI, Si unit shortly. Will the coil cause any problems with the new more sophisticated unit. If so how do I get around the problem. Thanks in advance for any advice.
