Default Auto Chart Live and Helix

Does Auto Chart Live perform better on a unit with SI or does it work just as good on a standard 2D unit? I'm interested in a Helix (probably a 9, maybe a 10) with it's main function being Auto Chart Live.

AutoChart Live custom maps are rendered from the 2d piezo data ...

It should perform as well on the DI or the 2d HELIX ...

Since I was about to start another thread with about the same name, I will just ask it here.

Do you need to purchase one of humminbirds zero lines SD cards or will any full size card work?

8 hours of internal memory on the unit, and beyond that it has to be a zero lines card.

Just another quick followup. When you insert a zero lines card (ZLC) after having done some mapping that is stored internally, Helix gives you the "option" to transfer the data to the card. Realize, that if you right arrow to accept, the map is "moved" to the ZLC, not "copied". I'm guessing HB's ZLC sales are higher than ever after the full Helix release.
