Yep I have a remote similar to that one and tried it on my backup boat and it's not the remote or the pad. My auto pilot on top of the head still lights up but that's all. The battery gauge did not work when I got the trolling motor so checking that is out of the question also

I don't know how much power it takes to illuminate the red light for the auto pilot...I would still get a multi meter and make sure you have 24 volt at the tm plug,
If you do then it's gonna take some trouble shooting from a pro.
