Where are you getting power for it from? TM battery or starting battery? It should be on the starting battery using twisted pair wires.

Here is the absolute fix .

Get a small 12 sealed battery and mount it up front.
Install switch between it and main battery.

The small battery will act like a filter.

It has worked every time I've seen it used.

RFI can infiltrate into a Sonar system from several access entries ...

    *Thru the power circuit ...
*Thru the xducer or its cabling ...
    *Thru the Ethernet ...
*Thru the head unit itself ...

Remove the xducer from the TM and hang it in the water away from the TM ...

If the RFI goes away - it's infiltrating thru the xducer or its cabling ...

If the RFI is still present ... Then start searching for the intrusion thru the power circuit next ...

If you have the TM power supply and FF power supply running together or very close to each other, should try and seperate them as much as possible, insulate them in some way, or make them cross at a 90* if possible. Moving one wire a little or a lot can make a difference. GL

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
