    I know they don't make the 1199 any more, but I was wondering what the difference is?

    The Helix screen is a wider format which is better for SI or split screen viewing. It is much brighter and has higher pixel density than the 99 series(sharper,brighter screen).......It has a faster processor and has Autochart Live built in to the unit....It will be supported with updates longer than the 99 series....It has a fix for the issue where the data boxes use up a lot of screen real estate.
