Mine just arrived. Getting ready to install! A question I have 1996 Ranger 451 v Comanche the turbulence at the transum prevents exterior mounted transducer . From the past installs I loose video or the picture on my unit once on plane running faster than 4 mph. Thus I must do a shoot through hull mount with epoxie ! Do you all agree? Will I loose some clarity scensitivity etc? Any other ideas? On mounting the 2 d transducer? I start the install by first removing the old transducer epoxied now. Plan to be carful and use a grinder with a fiber blade and try and cut it out? Just rambling thanks lb

If you have it in the right spot it should be just as good as mounted outside. Just take your time cleaning up. I have used plumbers putty before to move it around to find optimum spot then clean and epoxy.

You can add some ice to the bilge to make the epoxy brittle ...

Then place a piece of wood next to the shoot thru xducer and smack it with a hammer ...it should pop loose ...
