    Basically there are several things that can cause this. The curly cord have a almost broken wire in it--iPilot head-- and sometimes the main board. Ive have all there over time. You say removed remote system, I'm not sure that that means unless you just plugged the foot pedal in. Must be a Terrova. As plugging a foot pedel in a V2 with iPilot does not work.

    Sounds like a power drive v2. You can unplug I-pilot an plug in foot pedal. I had problem once when you push turn button an let go it would keep turning. Shut off power an turn back on an was ok.
