    assembled in USA isn't the same as made in the USA

    Humminbird is as close to made in the USA as you can get with anything electronic ..... The chips for EVERYTHING are mostly made in Taiwan.

    Take a trip to Alabama and tour the factory.

    Just how made in America do you need to have it to meet your own standards?
    If using "globally sourced parts" for a finished product, isn't made in America - then I suggest you research how much of my 2006 Toyota Tacoma is Japanese manufactured.
    Then go investigate parts and assembly of GM and Ford products.
    I don't wear rose colored glasses very often....
