Thread: Trolling motor interference

I went out with a buddy this morning and while operating the trolling motor I noticed the depth reading on the HB 565 with a TM mounted transducer would go crazy - but only while the motor is running. As soon as I took my foot off the button, the display settled down. The transducer is mounted on a bracket off to the side of the TM shaft. What can I do to remedy this?
