Excuse my ignorance, but I've just started learning about imaging sonars. I ran across an old post by Humminbird Greg where he explains a structure marked at the edge of an SI screen could be a hundred feet off location since the gps receiver is located in the boat. I guess I just assumed that if you marked the structure with your cursor, the fishfinder would have enough intelligence to realize the cursor is pointing to a location 100' away and would adjust the waypoint location accordingly.
