Elite 7 trail won't erase

I can delete the trail on the trail screen
But it won't clear on the gps screen
This problem just showed up

you can try soft or a hard reset on your unit

Make sure you save all your data, like waypoints to an SD card before you do a hard reset or you will lose them.

I had the same issue. I figured it out by accident. Go to the Trails menu and turn off the show trails. I don't remember exactly where it is but it is there.
