    Default LSS1 system question


    Can I use one of these units with a hds 5x and where will the transducer need to be ? my 5 is on the front of the boat and what will be the benefits of using one of them? Thanks

    Yes the LSS1 will work with your HDS 5X. Transducer location depends on what you an on doing with it. Most people have them mounted on the transom and use the side scan when searching for structure or fish. With down scan you can individual fish in beds where 2d doesn't separate the two. IMO side scan on a 5" screen is going to be hard to see any detail.
