    Default FF and TM

How important is separating the power source to reduce RF? Very small boat with only TM for propulsion.

I have read many threads on RF with lots of different answers. Will a choke or/and twisted pair allow noise free operation of a FF with a digital motor on the same battery? Application is O.T. Ambush, M.K. Endura Maxx 45, Lowrance Elite 4 Chirp (yes I need chart plotting for expansion purposes).

You may have noticed this is a bottom dollar, skinny water build with best of class combined. I expect controversy and will appreciate all replies, especially concerning the ff since that is the last piece.

First thing I would do is hook it up and try it out. Then if you have interference work from there. If mounting any distance from battery then use a twisted pair. If it does cause you problems I would just get one of these

You know they make some very small 12V batteries that would surely last for a day of fishing. They are maybe 5"x7" and 6" high. Have you tried your set-up yet? And are you seeing a lot of RF?

No I havent tried it, or even purchased the FF yet. Just trying to get everything researched first to reduce surprises. I know a second battery is the best way, I guess just hoping not the only way.
