Can someone tell me is the only difference between a lss1 and a lss2 transducer just the size ? Also what is the purpose of the structure scan module box ? I have been told you get a better image using the module boxes is this true ? What is the difference between the lss1 and lss2 structure scan module boxes

The box gives you Structure Scan on a Gen-1 or non-touch Gen-2. It provides the same function as what is built-in to Touch units.

The 2 is known as the Structure Scan HD. It does perform differently, but not tremendously.
