Default Few Questions on New GPS/FF

I finally used my Bass Pro gift cards from Christmas and bought the Lowrance Elite5 HDI that they had on special for the spring sale. The plan is to put it up front. I currently have an HDS7 Touch with LSS1 and tranducer at the console and a Eagle 640C up front. Both are powered from the starting battery. I bought my Terrova with the integrated transducer and it has been great for the 640c.

So I had a thought to keep the Eagle going up front to use the sonar from it and add the New Elite5 up there so I can use it for the Map and the Down Imaging. This way I have two screens instead of splitting the screen on the new unit. SO here are the questions.

Can I run both units off the same 12v wires or do i have to have two sets of wires coming to the front to power each unit separately?

I ordered the trolling motor adapter for the transducer. I can get the new one separated from the built-in transducer by 4 or 5 inches max. Is that going to be a problem?

If you run a heavy enough gauge wire from the battery to where you are going to connect the units then you can use it to connect both units easily. The heavy gauge wire is merely an extension of the battery terminals.
I would suggest that you not run the units on the same battery you start your engine with. When you crank the engine it pulls a lot of amps and draws from the battery which reduces the output to the units. Some units have low voltage warnings or go off if voltage is too low. You could run into issues with having them on the same battery in the long run. You are still fine in my opinion but it's just a suggestion.
Not sure on the TM issue.

Default Going to ask in a different way after some research

This is concerning trying to run the Eagle 640c and the Lowrance Elite5 at the same time. The Eagle uses the built in transducer on the terrova and is set at 200 kHz. The Elite5 has the 83/200 kHz which I believe is for the standard Sonar and a 455/800 which is for the down imaging built into the same transducer.

So If I set the Elite5 to use the 83 kHz for the regular Sonar, it will not interfere with the Eagle running 200kHz. This way I can use the Eagles screen purely for Sonar and the Elite 5 for the Map and Down Imaging. Is that correct?
