    I know in pretty technology challenged. I bought this unit and i have some issues trying to add gps cordinates and things is there a nice petson who might be willing to let me pick their brain regarding this unit? Thanks for any help.

    Are you needing info on manually entering waypoints (lat. lon.) into the unit ...??

    Yes putting in gps cords. Like brush piles and such

    *Press Menu twice to get into the main menu ...
    *Cursor over to the Nav tab ...
    *Cursor down to Waypoints ...
    *Cursor right to open Waypoint Management ...
    *Cursor to highlight "Options" ...
    *Cursor right to "Edit" ...

    In the waypoint edit menu ...:

    *Use the 4way cursor left and right to highlight each digit ...
    *Use the 4way cursor up and down to scroll thru the digit choices ...

    After you have entered all the info ...:

    *Use the 4way cursor to highlight "Save" ...
    *Use the 4way cursor right to activate the save function ...

    for way point input you don't need to go to the lake if you have a 12V power supply. I sit at my desk and do that, add, edit, re-name all can be done inside where it's warm.

    You can also add waypoints (or edit them) by using the HumminbirdPC program. This works best when dealing with large numbers of waypoints.
