That's true, but the card holds a lot of lakes. I downloaded most of the east coast from NY to FL, and also lakes I fish in S.E. Ontario. What you have on the chip at the end of the year, you keep. During your years subscription, you can delete the card of lakes you don't plan to go back to, and reload new ones. Unfortunately, you have to delete the whole card and reload all you want to have. You can't just delete individual lakes unless they changed something.

Yes it does hold a LOT of lakes. I still have time to fill mine, I had just misread how the card works so called Brian at BBG to get the skinny on it. Trying to squeeze equivalent of Hot Maps South on it and a few of the other great crappie lakes I hear about on this forum.
