The mapping and recording would extend the fishing experience once back home and help prepare for the next outing. Last night wife said she doesn't see her going fishing in my lil boat after all. I was going to get a kayak but went a bit larger to take her. (What I heard, time to add a Kayak to the mix and have both dingy and kayak to chase fish). So extra transducer will be figured in, just in case.

When are the best sales for graphs? Did I miss it for Christmas, or with the new models being released, sales will follow?

Kept my kayaks after buying boat. Wife loves the kayaks. we take it up some of the creeks early spring for fishing and wildlife.

was at Cabelas this weekend. Seemed to have many units on "clearance". I bought from BBG Marine, a forum sponser. Prices are good and support is the best. When GPS puck failed on new unit and Humminbird said on backorder, Brian went out of his way to find stock in USA and have dropped shipped to me.

I like to support the ones who feed me with knowledge and support my habits. Hmm Birthday few days away, boat is stored at Mom's I'm sure a Kayak would fit snugly there till spring too. Watching CL for deals and gearing up for nice weather. Snowing now, but been very lucky with lack of it all month. Appreciate the info.
    Happy New Year.
