I would still consider installing the GPS-HS at the transom like Rickie stated (Option 1). This will enable you to more accurately mark waypoints and maneuver back to them later on. Since you will be fishing mostly from the other end of the boat than the 360 you will want to know what direction the boat is pointing versus what the 360 is showing. Without the heading sensor in the GPS-HS the unit and 360 have no way of knowing what direction is what unless you are moving (then it uses the regular GPS for this).
