    Default ANY GARMIN USERS

I was thinking about this unit just for waypoints and GPS. I refreshes as fast as a GEN2 with Point1 supposibly. https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/on-t...rod119856.html

If I see something on the HDS10 I would just mark it on this.

I've read some comments on the newer Garmins being good units, and that their version of the downscan is better than HB or Low, but no 1st hand experience on one. I saw a utube video of a guide using a Garmin and he could see his jig and the fish hitting the jig on a Garmin b/w model.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I've got a 50S and a 70DV. Both have excellent GPS. There's some super buys on that unit now, look around.

I found one for 320 with free shipping. I just want it for waypoints and getting back to em. I wouldn't even mount the ducer.

Garmin 840 owner here, Garmin GPS is way better and faster than lowrance. (non point 1) Garmin is 3x better in side image. Garmin SI is just unreal. Garmin Di was about the same as lowrance. All this is my opinion, but I have hds9 also. With all this praise I'm selling the Garmin unit just because I love the Touch screen on the hds 9.

Brett, if you like Garmin that much better than Lowrance, and they are excellent units, I would simply buy a Garmin Touch. With that option, I don't see how you will be happy with anything but Garmin.

Yes I know, but the lowrance is good, and I just got and installed the motor guide xi5 trolling motor, looking forward to having them work together. Plus the garmins didn't have a touch when I got the 840 xs. I still don't know what they have out there for 2015. And to be honest, I done with experimenting with all these pricey toys. Garmin / hds 3 ? I'm done for a while.
