Fishfood, it sure does seem to respond better to me, maybe not?

I don't doubt yours is working better Kosmo. I am just trying to make sense out of the issues we have all had since purchasing the Onix units.
I have an extra power cable for my units. I am going to hook it straight to a battery and see if that makes any difference in the speed of my interface. If that helps one unit I am going to hook and 8 or 10 gauge unit into my dedicated fuse panel and see what happens.
It just can't be correct they would need that big of a cable to operate correctly. I have installed several units this past year with my system for folks. One of them included 2 x 12" and one 10" screen size. There have been no issues that I have heard of with any of my installs.
I'm not saying that that my onix is bug free, but I do believe that running straight to the battery is the best option..If you watch that second video were I keep pushing the touch screen button of an on.i did that because before I would get a really slow response. It was hard to tell if the unit would recognize the command. I touch it and have to wait for it to move.it would also happen the same on the global touch button.i also had my 360 wire to the same buss..t wouldn't operate on the highest speed setting.so I wired it straight to the battery and now I don't have that issue. As far as votage gos, the data bar on the onix was showing more than 12v before I wired strategy to the battery
I would recommend that anyone installing a new onix , wire straight to a battery , not through the boats existing wiring
