    There is a picture of it on the web but I can not find it.
    He had a sheet metal bracket that attached to the TM shaft with one U-bolt and had a flat part facing forward with holes to mount a flat bottomed transducer.

    This is my poor rendition of the mount. The one I saw had sheet metal bent to fit the curve of the TM shaft and left just enough room between the flat section to clear the screw heads on the transducer.
