I downloaded the updates to the card

I don't know if it'll unzip from the card or not but you can try. The file name should end with .zip, if it doesn't download it again to your computer. I down load mine to my desk top. Make sure your memory card is in the computer. After you have the .zip file double click on the icon, you should get a pop up with "select a destination and extract files". There will be a window with the location that the file will be unzipped to, on the right of that there is a box "browse" box. Click it and find the drive that your memory card is in, highlight it and click extract. When it finishes follow Lowrances instructions to install on you're unit.

A lot more steps than what I did. Pretty busy right now but will give it a whirl next week and let you know how it turns out. Thanks for your help
