You could have two LSS transducers, one LSS box and two Ethernet cables, one to the bow and the other to the console. Just make sure you LSS box is mounted where it is easily accessible so you can switch the transducer cable every time you move the unit.
I think it would be very inconvenient, plus I don't think it would do the DF or the LSS box any good constantly plugging and unplugging them. My advice if you want DS on the front would be to add an Elite 7 DSI to the bow or better yet if you budget allows add a HDS Touch with a DSI transducer. With the touch you get the benefit of Ethernet for more data sharing than NMEA, built in Structure Scan (no box needed), plus the touch screen. I think there are still some rebates available on Lowrance units. Call Brian at BBG Marine and he can fix you up, great guy to deal with, plus his prices beat the big sporting goods stores by a bunch.
