Yea, I'm curious.
I can sell the 9 touch for a lot,
Only if the garmin is really way better and it may be.
The 9 dies off at about 80' on side scan, 80 may be generous depending on the depth

Ps,
I love the touch screen and would miss it a lot.
Perhaps wait till 2015 for the 840 chirp touch and a lot of reviews

im having the same problem with my touch 9. thought i had something wrong with the settings.
