Anyone using this for with their Gen 2 or Gen 2 touch? I just ordered one to go with my 9 touch.

Im very tempted to add this module and mount and old Ipad on my bow......Would be interested in how you plan on setting this up and how much you like it after you have it installed for a while.

To me it's a no brainer. HDS 9 touch on the back, 520c on the front, view, control HDS 9 Touch from the bow via Pad and 520c to confirm. I might have to go backwards a lot though. But, almost like having another touch at the bow.

Yea that would be a killer setup I grabbed an HDS 9 Touch and currently thinking about using the rebate that I got from Lowrance to but this baby. I can buy this baby and a Samsung 12 Inch tablet and still be no where near the price of a single HDS12.

I've got an HDS bundle on order right now and saw those. I think it would be pretty slick but I'm not sure how robust an Ipad would be in the boat. First errant boat wake or big spray and you just trashed an Ipad.

I wonder if it will work with a Gen 1 Ipad? You can get those things cheap enough that you could buy a pile of them for replacements when they drown.
