    Just use a cheap $60 Android. This app is for Gen 2 and Gen 2 Touch only.

    What kind of run time could you get out of a tablet that's not plugged into a power source? I'd just as soon not poke another hole in my boat for for a cigarette lighter style power source iat the bow.

    Kinda cool but if you were using it at the front of the boat your transducer would still be at the back and I would be 19'6" away from where I wanted to fish

    Surely as much as a HDS touch cost there is a way to switch between transducers.

    I don't know you don't have a wireless transducer and only one plugs into the unit

    may be totally off here but am pretty sure it can be done through NMEA 2000, maybe not
