    What caftan said will work and easier than scratching paint for a continuity measurement. The brown us2 wire is mounted close to the positive brush. I have been here before.

    Disconnected the transducer cable and still blew a fuse when I turned troller on.......I'm down to one fuse

    The units (2) I worked on had previously been worked on by someone who screwed up the internal stuff. Can't remember exactly. I try not to work on them, but you do things for friends. Lots of folks work on these units (including some small repair centers) have limited electrical knowledge.

    For that fuse to blow, something has to be wrong on the load side of the fuse.

    I agree Cane Pole about the wire an I don't think I want to crack that motor case. I do want thank everyone for all their time an help this is a great site with people willing to share their time an knowledge.
    I will give Mr Jones a call in the morning and see if he knows of an easy fix but it's looking like I'm going to end up taking it somewhere.
