    Default Front fish finder.

I got a new boat. What's a good sub $300 fish finder to put on the bow? Has a Lowrance x50ds by the wheel. Should I mount the transducer on the trolling motor or in the rear next to the other one? The boat is an 2004 bass tracker pro crappie 175.

if the X50 works well where it's at then I'd put the new one on the TM. There are several different models that are in your price range. Check with BBG Marine or one of the other site sponsors, They'll be glad to help you out.
If you can, check some out at a local sporting goods store or go out with someone that has one like your looking at.
Anyway you do it look around A LOT and Good luck!

If all you want is a depth finder in your price range this is the one I would buy.http://www.bbgmarine.com/FISHFINDERS...duct_info.html
