    Default Cleaning screen on Hummingbird


    I have an older HB depth finder and was wondering what to use to clean the seen as it has a bit of caked on grime from use Don't want t us anything that might damage it. Figured I would ask for some help as I have ound this site to be very help full.

    Go to the store and get the eye glass wipes. They come in small individual packages ( about 30 to a box for about $3) that I keep in the boat all the time. Since I wear glasses they come in handy for cleaning my glasses when they get water on them and don't leave any streaks and are not harmful to glass. or plastic.

    Windex cleaner with vinegar. Not ammonia

    Windex Mulit-Surface with Vinegar and a microfiber cloth.
