    Id say hands on hands on. Sit in your boat and go through it. Or buy an extra power cord and mess around with it while sitting on the couch. I spent all winter ready watching videos. Doctor sonar and wired2fish are great site to look at for info on the hds units

    Oh no as soon as I get the new 9 I am going to the lake I have a bud that just put on a 9 and spotlight I am going with him Sunday to try his out
