deil11,the confirm button that you mentioned is one of those bugs that needs to be fixed.even though it pops up,the unit is not ready.just wait a little bit before you push it.then you will only have to push one time

That's right. And if you hit it a bunch it will freeze the unit sometimes too. Going to try the new transducer tomorrow so that can be checked off the list.

So Kosmo, if you have the DI pinging you still don't hear anything on the unit then correct? Got a PM on BBC and the guy has a Onix 8 and is pinging like crazy also. He seems to be having the same problems I am, to the point he sent his unit in and they updated his software. Really curious why yours is not doing it. Mine didn't do it at home, just when I installed it on the boat.

My Onix 10si originally had software version 1.10 I was having trouble with Lakemaster map for MN called Humminbird and they sent me version 1.120 which fixed problem. Still have not mounted to boat yet so not sure of ping noise, as its hooked up in my house there is no noise.

Brown trout,I can feel and hear the pinging coming from my transducer,but not from the control head like deil11 is getting.:dono

Still ice up here in MN so the lake will be a bit yet, but right no noise in house the transducer when hooked up makes a little noise which i am sure is normal.

I could also here my 597hd/di transducer,but it's not as loud as the onix transducer
