Price wise on eBay the 998 is only $200 more for 9 inch screen vs the 899 7inch screen. I want the biggest screen for my budget that's a $1,000 but if there's no huge difference in these two I want the bigger screen 998 model. I need I pilot link and lakemaster maps for sure. I'm going to buy the I pilot link after I purchase a HB unit. What's the difference between these units besides size if any that I may be better with newer 899 HB 7in screen?????
