Thread: Insight Genesis question...

A question came up on the Mississippi boards about some missing data on a couple of the Big Four lakes. When they were surveyed, it was done in the winter and there are large portions of the upper lake that are not mapped on our cards. (ie Grweysport area at Grenada). I was wondering about this......

If I used Insight Genesis to create a "custom map" of the upper lake areas, would that info just be added to my map card, or would I have to record that data on a separate card to be used in my plotter( I have an Elite 7). I guess my question is, would the data be added to my map of Grenada Lake on my "storebought card", or would I have to treat "greysport" as a separate map, recorded to a separate card, which I changed out whenever I fished that particular part of the lake.

No it would not show up on your "bought "card, it would have to be on a separate card.
