    Default Need help with trolling motor transducer


    Could somebody help me out on how to mount my transducer to the trolling motor properly. the way that i have the wire attached is not allowing me to change the depth at which i want the prop.

    Check the sticky at the top of this forum and see if that helps.

    type of TM you have and some pics would help people see the issue you're having and offer suggestions.

    Yeah, type of trolling motor & what transducer/unit you have would be the first order of business.

    Also, why are you varying the depth of your TM prop ??

    If your running hummingbird they have a depth offset on the menu if that's what your asking.....put your tm at what depth you want and punch in your offset.

    Yeah, my Lowrance Elite 5DSI also has that feature. But, what I "think" he's asking is how to run the transducer wire down the TM shaft, and still be able to change the depth he sets the TM.
