    Default HDS 7 GEN 2 Touch software update problem


    Hi folks I am currently trying to upgrade my newly purchased unit to 2.1 Software, I am following all the directions on the Lowrance website. I have used a 4gb and 8gb card but the unit wont start the upgrade process when I turn it on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I figured it out, FYI don't use a MAC. It see's inside the UPD file and extracts all the files that individually make it up so you have all the files that make it up but they are not in a format in which the device recognizes.
