Default How to enlarge dept readings?

I have a Humminbird 597 ci HD DI and a 798 ci SI finder. I use the Navionics Premium HotMaps chip in both units. The depth numbers along the contour lines are very small. I need to know if there is a way to enlarge the depth numbers on the screen. I use the zoom feature and it enlarges the screen shot, but the numbers stay the same. When I go to Navionics online the depth numbers are too small there also. My eyesight is not what it use to be. Thanks
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

You may be out of luck on actually enlarging those numbers, but you might try choosing different contours on the menu (if the option is available). For example, Lakemaster has 1' contour lines, but maybe I can set it to only show the 10' lines? This would spread the lines out and possibly enlarge them. By knowing the lines are at 10' intervals, you would be able to make a pretty good guess as to the actual depth. I think the map chips have a menu of their own, or else it is set into the Nav menu.

I had the same problem with 5xx & 7xx series units.

I replaced them 9xx series and it is much easier to read the chart depth numbers.

Another thing that may help would be to highlight the depths you want to fish....I have one color set for 15', and a range set at 5-7'

    spindle,
There is no menu setting change that you can do to make the Navionics map numbers appear larger.
