Thread: checking out fishfinder

Went today to check out Elite 7 HDI. Didn't seem to be working propably after installing new TD. Set my settings by what a c,c member had set theirs. This didn't work well . different depthfinder , different lake and I had gotten mine all out of shape. Installed new software and that helped even though I could not see how, as it was not listed in the changes pertaining to that software update. I finally got some feeling of accomplishment late in the afternoon after adjusting the TD. It may not have been parralel with the bottom I will probably have to play with settings next time out. This is cutting into my fishing time.........crappie1133

It needs to be parallel to the surface, side to side and fore and aft.
