HB 535 swap??

i have a hb535 on my boat that i want to swap to my to my other boat that has a TD on it but the hb535 had a square plug in back and the one i want to swap to has a round plug and we all know you cant put a round plug in a square hole.. can i cut the wire at the end and wire to the square? will it work right? or do i need to get another wire? thanks for help

If the "TD" means transducer, and they have different plugs, I'd have to say they aren't compatible. You need the correct transducer.

yea Shellback i got to thinking why chance it so i just pull cable under the floor and it got stuck had to remove the floor but got it out will swap transducer and all hope the hb535 is worth all the trouble
