You may want to check label on Rain-x to make sure it does NOT contain any alcohol, as alcohol is one of worst things you can put on any electronics screen. It dries out the surface of screen causing little cracks to form in the screen surface- which after awhile will look like a haze on your screen.

Lowrance recommends a 50/50 mix of alcohol/water mix to clean the new touch screens.

Been use it for 7 or 8 years now, still look like new. Also the wipes for LCD monitors have some alcohol in them, no problems there either.

Because of this post I tried the vinagar and water mix and I didn't have a lot of luck so I purchased the wave away. HOLY COW, that stuff is awsome. 2 pumps on the bottle and few wipes and the prints are gone. Well worth the $14

If you purchase and use Krystal Vision one pump is good for about a 7 inch screen and few wipes and the prints are gone.

You can order the Krystal Vision from:
