I'm trying to transfer way points into my Lowrance unit and not having much luck. I can manually enter them, I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer a list of way points without all the typing them manually. I've tried Map Create version 6, but the way points have more digits than the program accepts.
Example: 38 18 7.908 N 93 27 2.835 W Map create will only accept 38 18 7.9 N 93 27 2.8. I'm probably wrong, but I'm thinking because of the extra digits the list cannot be transferred properly. Any thoughts and or advise? Thanks
Most of my money is spent on fishing, fishing tackle and boats, the rest is wasted.

If all else fails, you can go here : GPS Coordinate Converter, Maps and Info and convert your GPS waypoints to all four versions, then pick out the one that fits your unit.
I used the converter to manually enter over 100 waypoints into my Elite 5DSI ... but then I do have a second tdx/power cable & a jumper battery, and can run my unit "in the house".
... cp![]()
Change the Lowrance coordinates to the same format as the .usr file. Or since you are using Map Create you can change the format there to match the Lowrance.
