what is nice is to see how much is actually down there, I'll spend more time there if I see 4 or 5 piles in the area

Ok: the middle line is where the boat is. There are dark areas on each side of that line. what is this dark area?

There is a tree on each side.
Does this mean there are two trees exactly opposite each other?or is it the same tree?
Sorry for the dumb questions-just trying to learn...

See if this helps some Joey ...then ask more questions if need be...

The tree on both sides of the SI is the same tree...

Because the SI has a left and right beam that meet in the middle under the boat...if the boat passes directly over the structure...both the left and right beam can pick up parts of the same structure...

in other words, you ran right smack over the top of the tree.

Ok--I see that now thanks-I need to look at a bunch of these images--maybe I'll get the hang of it.

I would like to see a side scan of somebody trolling next to an underwater creek bed
