    I just found navonics offers extended warranties. not the lowrance 5 yr one, anyone know about this or buy it ?

    Are you talking about navionics or navico? I'm guessing navico since they own Lowrance, Simrad and B&G.

    The water problems were with the older HDS units, Lowrance replaced the unit for the guy in the link stymie posted.

    And it wasn't easy for them either but good of them to post so that others know that if you stand your ground, the vendor will cave in and do what's right.
