Default Joystick complete and working.... pics

Joystick control is now fully functional. I had an intermittent issue whick turned out to be an intermittent micro switch internal to the joystick. A new micro switch (made in China) was hard to diagnose because touching the circuit board made everything start working. Lotta hiney pickin' was going on for sure.

Shellback, I changed the flat trailer wire connector to a square one. Loooooks better.

The linear actuator (electric ram) from ServoCity is 650 ft/lb rated. I have been waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive. I can run full turn in about 4 seconds.

I don't have a clue where/how to mount the linear actuator until the boat arrives.

Have you thought of incorporating speed and forward/reverse into the joy stick? That would be pretty neat, having it all right there on the stick.

I have given it some thought Ron. I can do this easily, but I remember when working at Lockheed on the C5 on the AWLS/Go Around. The throttle got stuck mid range and we barely had enough power to pull up on Go Around and was too fast to land. I finally got the bug out, but my skivvies had traces of skid marks.
